About Me -

Richmond, Vermont Photographer

Welcome! I'm thrilled you're taking a look through my site as you consider hiring a photographer. I know what it's like to make that decision - that's my fiancé and I celebrating our engagement!

I have a longstanding passion for photography - I grew up in Gloucester, MA, experimenting with film and darkroom techniques and even winning a scholastic art awards gold key.

I've spent the last decade+ in the Green Mountains of Vermont, working as a farm laborer, high school English teacher and most recently doing communications (including photography/videography) for state government.

There's nothing more fulfilling for me than capturing special moments and making you shine. I know what it's like being on the other side of the lens, and my priority is that you feel comfortable and have fun. I love to make the most of the opportunities that arise naturally during an event or photoshoot to turn candid moments into photos you can treasure forever.

Note: I welcome and celebrate people of all of sexes, ages, races, ethnicities, origins, sexualities, gender identities, abilities, budget, and anything else that makes you unique & awesome.

FAQ

How do I book a session?

A.Contact me through my form here, and I'll get back to you to sort out next steps!

What is the end "product" - how do you deliver my photos?

A.After your session, I'll send you a secure online gallery with a code that allows you to download your high-quality images!
There's also a built-in print store, sourced from US-based print labs, where you can order cards, albums, prints and more.

I just want a few photos / one good photo. Can I get a discount?

A.I'm happy to focus on making sure you have just a few, or even one, stellar photo to walk away with from our session!
The cost of a photoshoot doesn't really have a lot to do with the amount of photos you receive in your gallery - it's the time I spend preparing for, traveling to, and conducting your photo session. It's the equipment (camera, editing software, etc) that I've invested in. I always focus on quality over quantity - there's just a minimum cost to "fire up the grill," regardless of whether you're making one burger or a dozen.
